Pirate Pirate Steve is an ordained minister and runs the Three Rivers Ministry in addition to the Academy of Love. He lives on a boat and travels around working with the hungry, poor, aged and homeless as well as helping men and women wade through the minefield of dating. He has an MDiv, a PhD in Counseling and experience in marriage, relationship and addiction counseling.. The pirate thing is an affectation from the years when he had to wear an eye patch (Army injury), and since he lives on a boat it just kind of stuck. Though a bit of a character, he has spent years studying Social Dynamics and has put together a large body of work on the subject of dating and social interaction.
